Almond Breeze Barista Blend announced that Australia’s National Barista Day will be celebrated on 1 March 2019.

Almond Breeze Barista Blend wants to make National Barista Day a yearly event where Australians nominate their favorite barista or themselves for a cash reward at their Baristas For Baristas website.

The company has set up a panel of experts in the industry to judge and select the winners. Prizes include time with an international barista champion and access to the global platform that will help inspire and support future generations of baristas.

Michael McNulty is the Country Manager of Almondbreeze Australia and New Zealand. He says, “The barista job is the 10th fastest-growing occupation in Australia. There are currently over 40,000 baristas working in Australia.”

National Barista Day is a way to show the public that they are truly supportive.
