Restaurants are making every effort to keep their customers interested in the post-COVID dining experience. They try to come up with a novel idea that will attract foodies to their restaurants. A restaurant in Thailand recently created a fine dining event in an area that was affected by floods. Visitors could eat their food while having their feet wet! Another restaurant has a new, bizarre idea. This restaurant has a concept where you can eat with your feet in a fish tank. You don’t believe us? Check it out:
The video of the bizarre cafe was shared in the subreddit r/Damnthatsinteresting by user u/StcStasi. Since its posting, the short clip has been viewed over 16k times and received nearly 1k comments. The user wrote in the caption, “Koi pond cafe’ where guests sit in the tank.”
The 18-second video clip shows chairs and tables set up in a small space. The wall banner reads ‘Sweet Fishs Cafe,’ and it is located in Thailand. The water is ankle-deep, and the flooring appears to be made of wood. The water is filled with a variety of medium-sized, colorful fish to welcome guests.
Reddit users had a lot to say about the bizarre clip. The idea of a fish tank in the cafe grossed many people out. People wondered, apart from hygiene concerns, why anyone would go there.
