You can’t just walk away. Manual espresso machines need you to pull and pack your shot, monitor your espresso, and steam your milk. It’s not a long process, and it can be done in just a few moments.
You may need to purchase a coffee mill if you want the complete setup. It’s a great benefit to be able to grind coffee yourself and only use what you need.
Manual machines also require very little maintenance, which is another huge advantage. However, we recommend that you have your machine serviced every year to replace any parts (o-rings and seals) that wear out naturally over time.
Automatic Coffee Machine – You want convenience with your coffee
We understand that not everyone is interested in becoming a barista at home. Some people want to push a few buttons, get their mug ready, and move on with their day. Automatic coffee machines like the Jura are available because we sometimes need our caffeine fix immediately. Automatic machines are designed with ease of use in mind. They offer a variety of specialty coffees, including espresso, milk-based beverages, and cold brew.
What’s involved?
Not much. Automatic machines are great because they can do everything – grind fresh beans, brew espresso, and steam milk. Automatic machines are a bit more complicated than other machines, so you will need to do some maintenance and cleaning. Even the cleaning cycle is automated.
